Pawnbroker/ Sales Associate

JOB SUMMARY AND REGULAR DUTIES: 

  • Buying a vast array of products, from gold and diamonds to tools and laptops.  
  • Making profitable deals. 
  • Maintaining product knowledge. 
  • Building relationships with customers and developing leads that can blossom into a future of regular patronage and advocacy.  
  • Answering phones, emails, and text messages. 
  • Using the store software. 
  • Typing and using the internet for research. 
  • Learning how to use tools of the trade and recent technologies. 
  • Add customers to our Rewards Program and maintain their profiles.  
  • Opening and/or closing the store.  
  • Count money accurately.  
  • General cleaning. 

Part/Full Time Cashier

Job Overview:

The cashier role is responsible for completing all transactions
within the POS and other necessary software. This includes selling items
to customers, purchasing items from customers, and writing up buyback
layaways. The cashier works closely with the pawnbroker/appraiser to
properly serve the customer and accomplish tasks at hand.

Job Requirements:


- You must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.

- Stay on your feet for most of your shift.

- See well on monitors and phones.

- You should be able to manage your time to perform all tasks asked of you each day.

- You must be able to perform basic cleaning tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning floors, counters, and windows.

- Assist with opening and closing procedures throughout the day.

Job Specifications:

- Organizational skills

- Multitasking Skills

- You must be able to solve problems quickly and react to changing conditions on the job

- Must be able to read and write legibly

- Must be able to do basic math skills

Duties:

As a cashier, you are responsible for obtaining and recording the
proper information for all transactions including sales, purchases, and
layaways. The cashier plays a support role to assist Pawnbrokers,
Managers, and other coworkers with day-to-day tasks.

Product Processor

Job Overview:

As a Product Processor you will receive items for processing,
cleaning, and refurbishing. The Product Processor is also responsible
for cleaning the store. You will be asked to do a variety of tasks
throughout the day.

Job Requirements:
- You must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly

refurbishing, and cleaning items. You are also responsible for any
organizational, janitorial, or maintenance needs of the store. The
Product Processor is a key component to our day-to-day operations and
helps us represent the Pawn Pro Name.
